Basil Pesto Seasoning Mix
With a little oil, water, and this seasoning, you’ll have fresh pesto sauce for pasta, dips, pizza, and dressings.

Pesto Sauce
Combine 2 tbsp (30 mL) of the seasoning mix with 1 tbsp (15 mL) of water and set aside for 2–3 minutes to rehydrate. Add 3 tbsp (45 mL) of olive oil and mix well. Refrigerate overnight to develop the flavor. Add grated Parmesan cheese, if you’d like.
Creamy Sauce
Serve it with pasta or use it as a pizza sauce.
